Carol J. Bowen, age 70, of Marana, Arizona formerly of Rockford, IL passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025 in the comfort of her own home.

Carol enjoyed music of all kinds, nature, and gardening. She loved being with her flowers and the butterflies it would bring.

She was known for her down to earth attitude and the love of babies' cries as she said - they needed their mother.

She loved her family with her whole heart and had a special bond with her sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Randy Bowen; her children, Rachel and Josh; and grandson, Ryne McKinney.

Predeceased by her parents, Shirley and Don Miner; brother, Tod Miner; and sisters, Donna Miller, Becky Reichenbach, and Melissa Miner.

A visitation for Carol will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services, 7000 West State Street, Rockford, Illinois 61102, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
